The Socialist Party USA is a membership-based social, educational and political organization, where membership is more than mere voter registration. The Socialist Party's political arm is the Socialist National Committee, an FEC-recognized party fund authorized under federal law to raise and distribute campaign funds for political candidates. The mission is to help Socialist Party locals, state affiliates and independent socialists run more campaigns for local office.
